I am considered an "out-of-network" provider for most PPO insurance plans. This means that you pay for the session at the time of service, and my office provides you with a "Superbill" (a specialized medical receipt) that you can submit directly to your insurance company for reimbursement. Many of my patients receive 50% to 80% reimbursement depending on their specific plan.
A standard 50-minute individual therapy session is $180. A 60-minute couples or family therapy session is $220. I do offer a limited number of sliding-scale slots based on financial hardship; please ask about availability during your initial consultation.
Therapy is highly individualized. Some clients come to me for 8-12 sessions to navigate a specific life transition or crisis using short-term Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Others choose to engage in long-term, depth-oriented therapy that lasts for a year or more. We will discuss a personalized treatment plan and timeline during your first two sessions.
